Going for Gold.

Happy Thursday Loves, hope you are having a great week. I'm enjoying a delicious cup of coffee, my cousin gave me some coffee beans from his coffee shop and they are amazing, I don't want my cup to end. It's a beautiful day in New York but it's so cold, I can never get used to this winter weather, once the holidays are over I dream of warm weather.

Today is a big day for the two ballers in my life. Tonight Kyle will be competing in the Three Point Contest during the All Star Game in France. Im sending many good vibes to Paris, I know he is going to do fabulous. I'm so proud of you Kyle! Bring home the gold, I can't wait to pick you up tomorrow at the airport!

My other baller, my cousin Sammy, has her home opener today. She's kicking off her senior season and was named captain of the team. Today my family is heading to Sam's game to cheer her on and to be part of a special dedication. At Sam's game they will be dedicating the school's new shot clock in memory of her father, a great man, Tommy Long. I know it will be an emotional day, but my whole family will be there to support our #23. We love you Sammy and are so extremely proud of you. Family! (haha)

I'm going to leave you with a quote, it's short, to the point, and motivates me every time I read it. Brought to you by the fine people at Nike, this quote is probably one of the most recognizable quotes out there. I love its message and try my hardest to live my life by these words, especially when it comes to my sport. I thought this quote was fitting for today, since my family has some major competitions going on today.

Enjoy!

Just do it.
-Nike

Best,
Meggie
